Read-Alouds

This section features recordings of high-quality, diverse children’s books being read aloud, with questions woven throughout to support critical conversations. These videos are not intended to be shown to children. Instead, they are created for you, the educator, as examples of what critical read-alouds might look, sound, and feel like. As you watch, pause at the embedded questions to reflect, consider your own responses, and think about the many and multiple voices of children in your learning environments.
